Welcome! You’ve just landed on my personal website.
This is yet another attempt to organize my digital footprint after growing tired of social networks and other third-party platforms.
If you’re here, it’s either because we’ve met at some point or you somehow found me online. Whatever the reason, what you’ll find here is simply a summary of my activities. By activities, I don’t necessarily mean work, but also hobbies like riding motorbikes, cycling, and hiking.
Connecting the dots
I was born in Puente Genil, Córdoba, Spain, and my journey in technology began with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Málaga, Spain. After that, I relocated to Innsbruck, Austria, to pursue a PhD in Computer Science. While immersed in research, I also fell in love with the stunning Alps, where I discovered my passion for hiking, mountain biking, and motorbiking, making the most of the breathtaking landscape around me.
During my time in Innsbruck, I began learning Android development, which led to a collaboration with friends to launch a startup focused on teaching languages. This experience sparked my interest in mobile technology and innovative software solutions.
After completing my PhD, I moved to Munich, Germany and joined BMW, working on cutting-edge automotive projects. Since then, I’ve been deeply involved in the intersection of software and the automotive industry, where I continue to explore new technologies that drive the future of mobility.
On this site, I want to dive deeper into the various aspects of this journey—both personal and professional. You’ll find reflections on my career path, from my early days studying Computer Science in Málaga to my work in the automotive industry in Munich. I’ll share insights into software engineering, discussing challenges, lessons learned, and the evolving technologies that continue to shape the field.
Beyond work, this space is also where I document my adventures. My passion for exploring the outdoors, whether by bike, motorbike, or on long walks, has been a constant source of inspiration. Whether it’s winding through mountain trails in the Alps or embarking on new journeys through unfamiliar landscapes, I hope to capture those experiences and the sense of freedom they bring.
